Woke Wednesdays: Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a platform for discussion amongst college-aged students, faculty, and administration in regards to current political and social issues in our lives, mainly as students on campus. More specifically, our platform provides a forum for marginalized or minority voices to share their perspectives and thoughts. We focus on fostering community, inclusion, and intersectionality, as well as hard discussions, and we always stay Woke. We strive not to speak for the students but to serve as a vessel for all voices including, but not limited to our own.
Our Platform
There is already a bunch of media out there, from movies to articles, that emphasize the struggle that many students
go through while at college. From not being able to fit in, to dealing with mental illness and stress, to learning to navigate
college as a first-generation, low-income student, what makes Woke Wednesdays different from other media is our head-on approach.
We ask the questions that many are afraid to ask, with the main theme of our content being UNFILTERED. As a team of young, generation-z
students who have experienced most of the topics we post about, we bring authentic and entertaining media to you. We and our audience...
